IT’S ALL THAT.
Acadia brings together everything you’re looking for in one brilliantly realized
crossover vehicle. For starters, there’s Acadia’s athletic good looks and
spacious, versatile, well-equipped interior. Not to mention excellent all season
traction, with the option of a high-tech all-wheel-drive system. On
the road, Acadia delivers the performance, handling and overall refinement
of a premium sedan. Yet at the same time, it offers the highest cargo and
towing capacities in its class.* Acadia also delivers the best fuel efficiency
of any eight-passenger crossover,** thanks to advanced technologies like
Direct Injection, Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and a six-speed automatic
transmission. Add in a five-star safety rating† and the fact that Acadia was
named a “Top Safety Pick 2009” by the Insurance Institute for Highway
Safety (IIHS)†† and you’ve got a combination that’s impossible to resist.
Presenting the professional grade 2011 Acadia from GMC. It’s all that. |

MADE YOU LOOK.
Acadia is one crossover vehicle that’s impossible to ignore. The lines are
clean yet muscular, and the long wheelbase and broad front and rear tracks
add an athletic stance. There’s a GMC-signature grille that signals Acadia’s professional-grade heritage, and a close look is rewarded by a host of premium
details, including fast-illuminating LED tail lights. The Acadia body is also as
functional as it is beautiful. During the development process, GMC’s engineers
spent more than 5000 hours in the wind tunnel, refining every detail. The
result: a drag coefficient of just 0.344, so you enjoy a calm, quiet highway
ride and improved fuel efficiency. |

GO AHEAD, SPOIL THEM.
Acadia is a refined, comfortable and entertaining way for as many as eight
fortunate people to get around. The cabin is attractively styled and, with a
wheelbase over three meters long, remarkably spacious. The driver and front
passenger can enjoy the four-season luxury of available heated and cooled
bucket seats. For your rear passengers, entry and exit into the third row are a
breeze, thanks to Acadia’s low ride height and the SmartSlideTM second-row
seats. There’s also an excellent range of entertainment choices, including an
available rear DVD entertainment system complete with Bose® 5.1 surround
sound audio. Add it all together and you’ve got an elegant, luxurious cabin
that’s equipped to spoil every occupant. |
 |
GO WITH CONFIDENCE.
Acadia has been carefully designed and equipped to maximize your control
in all driving situations. A commanding seating position and outstanding
sightlines assure a clear view of the road ahead. Solar-Ray® tinted glass and
available heated exterior rear-view mirrors enhance your vision in varying
weather conditions. You’ll also notice that the round analogue gauges are
legible at a glance, and that every switch and control is carefully positioned
for intuitive use. For an even higher level of control, Acadia offers a whole
array of available high-tech equipment, such as a Rearview Camera System,
ultrasonic rear parking assist and Head-Up Display (HUD) instrumentation
that significantly lessens your need to take your eyes off the road. It all
pays off in a real sense of control when you’re behind the wheel. |

MADE TO MULTI-TASK.
Kids. Groceries. Grandparents. Snowboards. Camping gear. Luggage. The
boat. Whoever and whatever you need to carry, Acadia is the perfect solution.
Acadia’s versatility starts with an interior large enough to accommodate eight
people and their gear with ease. SmartSlide second-row seats can be eased
forward with one hand when you have passengers accessing the third-row seats.
Any time you need more cargo space, the second- and third-row seatbacks
also fold fl at to create up to 3283 liters of room – the most in Acadia’s class.*
An available power liftgate and a low 780 mm liftover height make loading
and unloading a breeze. And the boat? When equipped with the Trailer Towing
Package, a best-in-class maximum trailer rating of 2359 kg (5200 lb.),* Acadia
is ready to make the run to the lake any time you are. |
